While other systems require you to build libraries of all of the assemblies you will need to price a project the Prodictive Estimating System is different. In the Prodictive Estimator you don't have to create any assemblies. It knows what cabinets and tops are, it knows mouldings, and it knows reception desks and such as well. It also knows to prompt you for different materials and finishes, along with  construction methods. In the Prodictive Suite every estimate is fully editable for material prices, labor rates, waste factors, markups, profits .. they can all be changed without affecting the system defaults or changing other estimates already in the system. And the settings for that estimate follow it throughout the system, again without changing system defaults or other estimates. Estimates become projects

When an estimate becomes a project all of it's items, labor, and materials become goals for profitability throughout the system. So if an estimator figured 80 hours of custom assembly labor and 12 hours of installation with a stained finish those figures become targets for project managers and production people to achieve. Project management flexibility

In addition, while project managers have the estimated data to work with, they can override the estimate values as they proceed through a project so they can choose to subcontract a phase or type of work or change materials or finishes .. all without affecting the estimate.
